Last week we had S&G Carpet come out and install new flooring to our entire upstairs. It took them two, long days to do it and though the mess and noise were extremely inconvenient when you have a toddler in the house, it was totally worth it. In doing our research we had shopped around at the big-box stores but found that not only was S&G a better deal, their customer service was more desirable.
We moved into our house in January 2009 and one of the first projects we did was the downstairs flooring. Because of the cost we had to wait on the upstairs flooring, which was doable because at the time the carpet wasn't as bad upstairs as it was downstairs. However, after four years of additional wear it was definitely time to replace it. Now that it's complete it's like a whole new house. We are in love with the result and are now able to enjoy playing upstairs much more.
(It's a little hard to tell the true color in the pictures; the carpet is a dark brown and the tile is a marble effect with beige, brown, and gray.)
Pretty!!!!
