With the exception of hosting a small gathering for Easter dinner, our weekend was a total 'go with the flow' kind of weekend. And it's a good thing too because Nolan's teething is back in full force so his mood kind of dictated what activities we would be doing. We forgo this year's egg hunt at Lembi Park for our own here at the house, and Mallory seemed to be just as content. I might have gone a little overboard with how much candy I put in the eggs because now she's guarding it with her life. A lot of it she doesn't even like to eat, but she will not throw any of it away. Kids are funny.
Lots of moments this weekend that left me feeling very blessed and thankful for my family - both immediate and extended. Life has been a little chaotic lately so there are times when maybe those blessings aren't as noticeable because we're tired or grumpy or stressed or just being too self-absorbed, but I love when God brings us back to reality to show us the big picture on what's really important. Definitely puts a smile on my face!
How special these are, Mallory looks so sweet and Nolan is all boy! He just doesn't know what to think of these girls. Missed all of and happy you had a day filled with family. xoxo
